Everyone in the vehicle pays the price for the number of seats filled, so each traveller who joins brings it down.

Prices are per person sharing a room. You never pay more than the price quoted when you booked. A seventh traveller needs a second vehicle, so ask the operator for a price above six.

   Lushoto to Lukozi

   Day 1: Lushoto to Lukozi Enjoy a pleasant hike through the beautiful Magamba Forest, with opportunities for birdwatching, chameleon spotting, and observing monkeys. Continue through scenic farmlands and traditional villages, experiencing the local culture and peaceful mountain landscapes before reaching Lukozi for an overnight stay.

   Lukozi to Rangwi adventure hike

   Continue your hiking adventure through beautiful Usambara landscapes, passing traditional villages, local farms, and rolling hills. Enjoy scenic countryside views, interact with local communities, and discover the daily life and culture of the Shambaa people. Along the way, look out for birds and other wildlife while enjoying the fresh mountain air before arriving in Rangwi for an overnight stay at the Sisters’ Convent.

   A pleasant hike day

   Hike through beautiful villages and farmlands towards Shagayu Forest, enjoying the rich forest vegetation and opportunities for chameleon spotting and birdwatching. Along the way, meet local pottery-making women and learn about their traditional skills and cultural heritage. Continue through scenic landscapes towards Mtae, where you can enjoy breathtaking views over the Maasai plains and a spectacular sunset before an overnight stay at Magumba viewpoint lodge.

   Walk to famous attraction in Lushoto

   After breakfast, drive back to Lushoto and enjoy a short hike to the spectacular Irente Viewpoint, offering breathtaking views over the Maasai plains. Continue to Kisasa Waterfalls, where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and the peaceful forest surroundings before concluding your 4-day Usambara hiking adventure.
