Everyone in the vehicle pays the price for the number of seats filled, so each traveller who joins brings it down.

Prices are per person sharing a room; a room of your own is USD 240 more for the trip. You never pay more than the price quoted when you booked. A seventh traveller needs a second vehicle, so ask the operator for a price above six.

Your day-by-day itinerary

   Arusha to Tarangire

   Tarangire National Park Elephants, baobab trees and savannah 6:00–7:00 AM: Depart Moshi or Arusha. 9:00 AM: Enter Tarangire National Park for a game drive. 12:30 PM: Picnic lunch in the park. 1:30–4:30 PM: Continue searching for elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest and lions. Evening: Drive to your Lodge in the Karatu area for dinner and an overnight stay. safari is a great way to experience Tanzania's wildlife, see elephants and giraffes, and look for lions in their natural habitat.

   Ngorongoro Crater descent and back to Arusha

   Spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife 6:00 AM: Breakfast and departure toward the crater. 7:00–11:30 AM: Descend into the crater for a game drive, looking for lions, buffalo, elephants, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. 12:00 PM: Picnic lunch during the safari. 1:00–2:00 PM: Final wildlife viewing and begin the return journey. Late afternoon or evening: Return to Arusha, depending on your starting point and road conditions. Safari is a great way to experience Tanzania's wildlife, see elephants and giraffes, and look for lions in their natural habitat.
